This Enlightenment Text on the Protection and Processing of Personal Data (“Clarification Text”) is issued by the Permatürk Back to Sustainable Life Foundation (“Permatürk” or “Foundation”) as the data controller of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (“Law”). It has been written within the scope of the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles to be Complied with in Fulfilling the Disclosure Obligation, published in the Official Gazette dated 10 March 2018 and numbered 30356 with its article 10. In this context, we would like to enlighten and inform you in the most transparent way about the ways in which your personal data is collected, the purposes of processing, the legal reasons for the processing and your rights.
1. Data Controller

3. Purpose of Processing Your Personal Data

All necessary technical and administrative measures are taken by the Foundation in order to prevent unlawful processing of your personal data and illegal access to your data and to keep your personal data safe.
4. The Parties to which Personal and Data are Transferred and the Purpose of Transfer
In personal data transfers to be made by the Foundation, it is acted in accordance with the personal data transfer conditions regulated in Articles 8 and 9 of the Law.

In order to ensure donor participation and/or communication planning for events and announcements, transfers are made to third parties who run the organization and to service and infrastructure providers that ensure the execution of relationship management processes.
Your personal data in question may also be transferred to judicial authorities or relevant law enforcement authorities, upon request, to resolve legal disputes or in accordance with the relevant legislation.
If your personal data is shared, necessary security measures are taken.
5. Collection Method and Legal Reason of Your Personal Data
Your personal data will be collected verbally, in writing or electronically by the Foundation or its authorized persons to be processed for the non-limiting purposes specified in this Clarification Text, and may be collected and processed by automatic or non-automatic means. Your personal data collected with these methods can be processed and transferred for the purposes specified in this Clarification Text within the scope of the personal data processing conditions and purposes specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law. can be transferred.

6. Use of Website Cookies
The Foundation website uses the internet analysis service provided by Google, called Google Analytics. This service monitors the visit date, time and movements of the site users within the site. The Foundation uses this information to improve the performance of the website, to see which days and times are busy, and to learn which areas of the website are popular.

7. Credit Card Security
The security of your credit card is provided by SSL encryption technology. You will see a lock icon in your browser on every page where you enter your credit card information. This icon represents 128 Bit SSL Certificate provided by GlobalSign. In addition, on the pages where you enter your credit card information while making the payment, the internet address section will change from http to https. With SSL technology, a direct encrypted communication is established between the user's computer and the bank, regardless of the site, when the payment process starts, and any information you send via your browser is not seen by Foundation employees or third parties.
All the information you enter while making a transaction with your credit card is protected by the system that protects the database. The Foundation undertakes not to disclose the personal and sensitive information it collects from users for any reason, except for legal requirements, without user consent, not to share such information with third parties or institutions, and not to misuse it.
8. Retention Period of Your Personal Data
Your personal data is stored for the period required by the purposes specified in this Clarification Text and the relevant legislation. In addition, in case of any dispute that may arise between the Foundation and the data owner, individuals will be able to keep the data limited to the purpose of making the necessary defenses within the scope of the dispute and during the statute of limitations determined in accordance with the relevant legislation.
9. Precautions and Commitments Regarding Data Security

The Foundation will not disclose the personal data it has obtained to anyone else in violation of the legal regulations regarding this Clarification Text and will not use it for purposes other than processing.
10. Your Rights Under the Law
Pursuant to Article 11 of the Law, as a personal data owner:

Your requests regarding your aforementioned rights, within the scope of the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Law and Data Controller (“Communiqué on Application”); You can send it by applying to the foundation's info@permaturk.org address.
Your application will be evaluated by the Foundation and finalized within 30 (thirty) days at the latest, as stipulated in the Law. Although it is essential that no fee is charged for your application, if the process requires an additional cost, a fee may be charged based on the fee schedule determined by the Personal Data Protection Board.
In order to use your right to apply, it is obligatory to include the following points in your application, which are included in the 2nd paragraph of the 5th article of the Application Communiqué.

12. Changes to the Text
The Foundation may change the provisions in this Clarification Text at any time by publishing it. The provisions that the Foundation makes changes take effect on the date of publication.
